South Seneca and Masons Work Together for Children’s Safety
Farmerville Union Lodge #183 Masons of Interlaken recently held a NYS Masonic Lodge Child ID Program at South Seneca Elementary. Eighty-eight students were photographed, fingerprinted and given a photo ID, a third more students than the previous year.
John Hubbard, Lodge Master, (seated-right) enters information for PreK student, Annaliese Hubbard(seated-left) before she was fingerprinted. If the student is lost or hurt, the fingerprinting program will help with ease of identification. Members of the Masons’ sister organization, The Order of the Eastern Star provided volunteers for this event also. Karen Williams, Elementary Nurse coordinated this event between parents and the Masons. Thank you, Karen and Masons for helping to keep South Seneca students safe.
