Join Rue Claire Lavender Farm on Saturday, July 14th from 12:30pm to 4:30pm for the annual “Lavender Harvest Celebration”. Proceeds from this event will benefit the South Seneca Food Backpack Program and the Beverly Animal Shelter. Music will be provided by Maplewood Jazz Team.
Rue Claire will provide the scissors for you to pick lavender by the bundle for $10. Wine tastings will be available for $12 and include wine from: Three Brothers Winery, Sheldrake Winery, Eremita Winery and J.R. Dill Winery as well as local cheese and Rue Claire chocolate pairings included.
Kids’ activities include: 1pm-story time, 1:30pm-sack race. Silent auctions include monotype art pieces in a lavender theme created by South Seneca fifth grade art enrichment students under the direction of Breana Copp, art teacher and fused glass jewelry from High School Art Club members. Bottles of wine, and a children’s play kitchen set will be auctioned as well.
