Popular regional author, poet, oral memoirist, story-teller, photographer, and publisher Michael Czarnecki of Kanonah, NY, returns to Fatzinger Hall of the Waterloo Library & Historical Society, 31 E. Wright St, Waterloo, NY. Sponsored by The Literary Guild of the Finger Lakes, the multimedia presentation will take place on Wed, July 11th, at 7 pm.
Entitled “The Journeys of Summer,” the program will offer photography, oral memoir, poems, and story-telling from Czarnecki’s adventures over many years, traveling the roads and by-ways of the U.S., from Acadia in Maine to the Oregon Coast.
This event is free and open to the public. Join the presenter afterward for refreshments and discussion. Books by Czarnecki, from his publishing house, FootHills, will be available for sale.
The Literary Guild of the Finger Lakes, a grass-roots organization dedicated to creating community amongst writers and other artists as well as presentation literary events, was founded in 2011 by poet and workshop leader, Patricia Roth Schwartz of Waterloo, and poet /publisher, Steve Tills of Palmyra.
