Bring a lawn chair and enjoy some great music, cake and ice cream on Friday, July 20th at 7:00 pm at the Ovid Fire House Pavilion, Brown Street. Free admission to the concert, and a $2 charge for cake and ice cream for adults, $1 for kids.
The Finger Lakes Community Band, directed by Patricia Root and Rebecca Root Davis was formed one year ago, and has performed at the 2011 September 11th Ovid Memorial Parade and a 2011 Interlaken Veteran’s Day concert. The group will also be marching in the July 7th festival parade in Lodi at Noon and at the Interlaken Library in August.
The group is always looking for new members, twelve years of age and older, please call 607 869-9967 if you are interested in joining this group of musicians.
