Seneca Museum
of Waterways & Industry
receives a grant from M & T
Bank Community Giving
Some of the children in the Seneca Falls Community do not have the cultural and educational opportunities that large urban areas provide, and that is why the Seneca Museum strives to fund our “Summer Camp” with grants each year so there is no charge for the children.
This year, the 2012 Summer Camp program is funded by M & T Bank. In addition to having fun with the canal demonstration, learning the physical concepts behind canals and locks, the students will have hands-on use of vintage tools. Attendees will be enjoying a cruise down the Cayuga-Seneca Canal with Canal Side Experience and taking photos and having fun with journaling. For a special treat this year there will also be two programs from the Young Audience of Rochester. TRAVELING ON THE ERIE CANAL by Melissa Kate and THE ERIE CANAL SHOW musical performance with Susan Rozler. Lunch will be provided.
The program is offered July 11 – 12 - 13 for ages 7 through 13. Please call (315) 568-1510 for more information.
