The Nancy Curvin Playground Players’ performances of Three Little Pigs… I Mean, Three Little Hogs will be free and open to the public on Tuesday, July 17th at 6:00 PM at the Pulteney Street Park, and on Wednesday, August 8th at 5:45 PM at the Gazebo in Lakefront Park, Geneva.
The Nancy Curvin Playground Players were founded in 1998 in memory of the late Nancy Curvin and is jointly sponsored by the Geneva Theatre Guild and the Geneva Recreation Department. Each summer, two local college students are hired to direct a small company of high school actors in a play for audiences of young children (between five and ten years of age) and senior citizens. The Players then tour the three county area in late July and early August, giving between twelve and fifteen free performances at parks, playgrounds, day care centers and nursing homes.
This year’s show Three Little Pigs… I Mean, Three Little Hogs, written by Larry Brumer, is directed by Allana Overstreet and Kat McCorkle. For more information on the Nancy Curvin Playground Players, go www.gtglive.org.
