A Waterloo man who was stopped for failing to signal a turn ended up with charges for possession of marijuana and cocaine.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies arrested Joseph L. Osterhout, age 20, of 3031 Owasco Dr. Waterloo N.Y. on 7/11/12 at 12:37 am. Deputies report the arrest stems from a traffic stop on Rte 96 in the Town of Waterloo where Osterhout failed to signal his turn.
During the traffic stop Deputies found that Osterhout was in possession of marijuana and Cocaine. Osterhout was charges with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Failure to Signal Turn.
Osterhout was arraigned in the Town of Waterloo Court and was remanded to the SCCF in lieu of $250 cash or $500 bond. Osterhout will return to Waterloo Town Court on 8/9/12 at 5pm.
