More Conversational Mandarin Chinese Classes at the Seneca Falls Library
SENECA FALLS – The Seneca Falls Library will host a 4-part series of classes to learn Conversational Mandarin Chinese from 7:00 to 8:15 pm on Mondays, August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th taught by Taiwan native and local resident Ping Shyu. Designed for beginning students, the classes will provide an introduction to the language and focus on learning basic Mandarin. This series is a repeat of the classes offered in June and has been scheduled in response to overwhelming interest from the community. Classes are free. Please register.
Ping Shyu taught English in her native Taipei, Taiwan for several years before moving to the United States, where she has taught Mandarin to American students for more than a decade. Ms. Shyu holds degrees from Chinese Culture University and University of West Florida and has worked as an English-Chinese book translator.
