A Waterloo man who was stopped for a no tail lamp violation and driving through a stop sign was charged with multiple traffic violations, possession of marijuana and DWAI, drugs.
On July 18th, 2012 at approximately 9:58 pm, Seneca Falls Police arrested David J. Neinast age 63 of 137 East Elizabeth Street Waterloo New York, 13165. Police conducted a traffic stop of Neinast’s vehicle on River Road in the Town of Seneca Falls for an equipment violation and failing to stop for a stop sign.
After conducting an investigation, officers found Neinast to be driving while under the influence of marijuana. Officers also located marijuana inside of Neinast’s vehicle. Neinast was placed under arrest for an equipment violation for no tail lamp, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without an Inspection Certificate, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Drugs 1st, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Neinast consented to a blood draw and was transported to Geneva General Hospital.
Neinast was released on UTT’s and an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on July 26th 2012 at 10:00 am.
