Proceeds from an All Day Silent Art Auction at the CNY Cake Decorating and King Arthur Flour Cupcake Baking Competition October 6th from 10am-9pm will go to help fight domestic violence.
The CNY Cake Decorating and King Arthur Flour Cupcake Baking Competition, hosted by CNY Cake Decorating, will be held on October 6th from 10am-9pm. ALL proceeds will go towards the fight aganist Domestic Violence (The Advocacy Center and YWCA Cortland Aid to Victims of Violence).
The event is featuring an All Day Silent Art Auction with pieces from the following local and world-renowned artists:
Child art-prodigy Akiane Kramerik who was featured on Oprah and CNN, Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs, painter Kim Simons, Melissa Sarat, 12-time competition winner Linda Milea, self-taught national award winning artist Rita Williams, multi-medium artist Margret Garlock and local artist Nathaniel Brockner.
CNY Cake Decorating is now looking for additional art donations for their silent auction.
Artist Eligibility:
- Artists must donate their piece by August 17th
- The auction is limited to 30 artists.
- Artists must provide an image of their submitted piece via a .pdf file
- Open to all family friendly subject matter and mediums
- Art must not violate copyright laws.
- Art must be original.
Important Times:
- August 17h, 2012-all donations must be in
- Silent Auction- October 6th 10am-9pm.
