A rollover accident in Junius was caused by unsafe speed on a curve on Nine Foot Road according to Sheriff Deputies. All four occupants of the car received minor injuries when the car struck a tree and rolled over.
Seneca County Sheriff Deputies investigated a one vehicle rollover on Nine Foot Rd, in the Town of Junius. Shortly after 9pm on 07-25-2012, a vehicle operated by Amber M. Maddox (17) of 572 Harbor Lane, Waterloo was southbound on Nine Foot Rd when her vehicle left the east side of the roadway, striking a large tree and rolled over.
Inside the vehicle was Sean L. Bounds (23) of 1340 St Rt 336, Waterloo, Michael J. Greco (20) of 2877 St Rt 96, Waterloo, and Joseph M. Jarlenski (18) of 1925 Townline Rd, Geneva.
All occupants suffered minor injuries and were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and Geneva General Hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash is believed to have been the result of unsafe speed for the road condition. Junius Fire Department responded along with North Seneca, Finger Lakes, and Phelps Ambulances.
Maddox was cited for unsafe speed and driving to the left on a hillcrest/curve.
