Two Geneva women were arrested in Fayette following complaints of a loud party. It is alleged Haliegh Wright supplied alcohol to five underage individuals and resisted arrest.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies arrested Wright, 17, of 2588 S. Townline Rd. Geneva NY and Venasia D. Jones, 19, of 10 Goodman Ave. Geneva NY on 8/15/12 at 0400 hrs. Deputies responded to 3709 S. Parker Rd in the Town of Fayette for the report of loud individuals.
When Deputies arrival they spoke to Wright who admitted to providing alcohol to the 5 other people at the residence that were drinking. Deputies arrested Wright for Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st degree, Criminal Nuisance in the 2nd degree, Unlawful Possession of alcohol under 21 and resisting arrest.
Jones was arrested for Obstructing a Governmental Agency in the 2nd degree, Unlawful possession of alcohol under the age of 21 and Disorderly Conduct. Deputies said that while effecting the arrest of Wright, Jones was yelling obscenities in the street at Deputies and Jones attempted to interfere with the arrest of Wright.
Both Wright and Jones were taken to the Fayette Town Court where they were arraigned. Wright and Jones were committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750 cash bail or $1500 insured bond. Both are to re appear on 9/5/12 at 7pm. to answer the charges.
