A drug bust following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit has led to the arrest of two Fall Street residents of Seneca Falls. Ryan M. Hampp was charged with multiple offenses, and Kariann E. Zeger was charged with possession of marijuana. The two live in separate apartments at 2 Fall St, but Zeger was in Hampp’s apartment at the time of the arrest.
12-17-2012, The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested two persons following a drug investigation in the Town of Seneca Falls. Members of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Uniform Road Patrol executed a search warrant at 2 Fall Street, Apartment 13, in the Town of Seneca Falls. Seized pursuant to the search warrant were phenobarbital, morphine, marijuana, packaging commonly used in the sale of illicit drugs, scales, daggers, knives and a quantity of US currency.
Arrested were the following:
Hampp, age 32, of 2 Fall Street, Apartment 13, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a Class D Felony, Four Counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Class D Felonies, Two Counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, Class A Misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Hampp was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail. Hampp is to reappear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on December 21, 2012 at 4pm.
Kariann E. Zeger, age 24, of 2 Fall Street, Apartment 8, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Zeger was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on January 10, 2013 at 10am.
The Seneca Falls Police Department assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
