Members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and the Uniform Road Patrol Division arrested the following two females following a joint investigation. Arrested were the following: It is alleged that Long was operating a motor vehicle on East Main Street in the Village of Waterloo while under the influence of heroin. At the time of the incident, Long had two children (ages 1 and 4) in the vehicle. Due to the children being in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop, the charge is elevated to a felony under “Lendra’s Law.” Long was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 secured bond. Long is to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on February 28, 2013 at 11am. The Waterloo Police Department assisted at the scene. Sheriff’s Investigators are working on the investigation closely with Seneca County Child Protective Services. It is alleged that Foulkrod was operating a motor vehicle on Pre-Emption Street in the Town of Waterloo while under the influence of heroin. Foulkrod was alone in the vehicle at the time of the incident and failed to stop for a stop sign. It is further alleged that Foulkrod possessed a small quantity of heroin and marijuana in the vehicle. Foukrod was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Waterloo Town Court on March 28, 2013 at 5pm. An arrest is not a conviction and all are presumed innocent until proven guilty. |
