In keeping with Babe’s wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. Family and Friends may attend Babe’s Memorial Mass on Saturday, (November 21, 2015) at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Babe was born in New York City, NY on June 6, 1919 the daughter of the late Ralph and Antoinette Russo Giglio. She put herself through Business School in New York City and was employed as a bookkeeper with Bender Hat Co. before moving from N.Y.C. in 1999 to live in Seneca Falls, NY. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls where she served as a Eucharist Minister. Babe was a member of the NY Chapter of The Catholic War Veteran’s Auxiliary and was a contributor for the Eagle Messenger Newspaper where she wrote a column about the Veterans. She wrote her column until the age of 90. She was also a former member of the Taylor-Brown Auxiliary. She loved playing cards and word games and kept her mind very active. She also enjoyed playing games on her computer.

Her very dear friend, Rene Sutton-Spike – Canoga, NY. Several Nieces and Nephews, and Many close friends.
Besides her parents, Josephine is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Pace, who died on October 31, 1994, 3 Brothers – Vincent, Luca, and Arthur Giglio; 1 – Sister – Jean D’Amato and a good friend, Jim Spike who died in 2014.
