Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Tuesday, December 29, from Noon to 2:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterloo, NY immediately following the service. Ann was born in Geneva, NY on June 26, 1935 the daughter of the late John & Bridgett Sherlock Diviney. She was a life resident of the Waterloo-Varick area. She retired from Geneva Adjustment Service in Geneva, NY where she was office manager for more than 30 years.
Ann’s loving and caring nature was shared with anyone who crossed her path. . She was one of the active volunteers instrumental in the foundation of “Happiness House” in Geneva, NY. She later became a member of the Board. Ann was very involved with the Everybody Rides Program in Newark, NY bringing horseback riding happiness to hundreds of special needs individuals. She dedicated her life to her children, extended family and friends sharing with them her strength in character and unconditional love. Being on the move brought Ann happiness, whether it be through yard work or her crafting.
She is survived by:

Her daughters – Donna (Curtis) Karlsen – Varick, NY
Linda (James) Durso – Victor, NY
4 grandchildren – Adam (Allison Clark) Karlsen, Benjamin (Lauren Brannan) Karlsen, Linsey (David Bethea) Karlsen, & Tyler Durso
1 great-grandson – Kai Bethea
Her brother-in-law – Wilson “Bill” Wright – Waterloo, NY
