Angeline Rose Dufty – Obituary
DUFTY, Angeline Rose, 1925-2017, passed away peacefully at her home in Boulder, Colorado on January 26. Better known as Angie by her friends and affectionately referred to as Nan-dawg by her grandchildren. She was loved dearly by her family and friends.
Angie was born in Seneca Falls, New York on March 9 and moved to Michigan as a young woman to attend college at Michigan State which is where she met her husband, Joe Dufty. She gave birth to her beloved daughter Cynthia in 1949. She moved to Florida, where she worked as a Legal Assistant until she retired at the age of 75.
She has reunited with her parents Grace Cazzato-Nicoletti and Andrew Cazzato and siblings Tony and Mary Cazzato in heaven. Angie is survived by her brother Andrew Cazzato, daughter Cynthia Lowe, son-in-law Steven Lowe, grandsons Curt Candler and Matt Osborn, granddaughters Cara Osborn and Molly Candler and great granddaughter Cameron Candler.
A celebration of life will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont this Friday, February 3rd at 11:00am with a reception to follow. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, a small donation in Angie’s memory to Tru Community Hospice or the American Heart Association will help others.
She will always be remembered as a hardworking woman whose passion was her family.
She leaves us rich in memories and a lifetime of laughter.
