Richard D. Bixby Jr., age 32, of Smith Road in Lodi, died unexpectedly on Thursday (May 12). The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, (May 16) at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid, NY. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday (May 17) at Ovid Federated Church, 7137 N. Main Street in Ovid, with Pastor Diane Walker officiating.
Prayers of committal will be held at Ovid Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Richie s memory to his children s future education to the Bixby/Travers Memorial Fund, c/o Community Bank, PO Box 279, Interlaken, NY 14847.
