Mr. Thomas J. “Tom” Miller, 69, of Anderson, SC, beloved husband of forty-nine years to Ann Crabtree Miller and son of the late Reeder and Irene Smith Miller, entered into rest Tuesday, October 26th, 2010.
At his request, Tom was cremated and a Celebration of Life Service was held. Also at his request a portion of his ashes were scattered on the beach of Oak Island, NC, which has been a family vacation spot for more than 40 years.
The remainder of his ashes will be interred in the Miller Family plot at the West Lodi Cemetery in Lodi NY at 11a.m. on Saturday, August 13. He will be the seventh generation Miller to be laid to rest there. Reverend Jim Yao of the Presbyterian Churches of Hector and Lodi will officiate the graveside service.
Tom had respectfully requested that flowers be omitted and memorials in his memory be made to the Blue Ridge Council of Boy Scouts of America.
