This past week one of Seneca Counties Finest was called to duty by a higher power. David William Brown, age 50 died on August 14, 2011.
Dave was born October 14, 1960. He grew up in the Finger Lakes, graduated from school at Romulus in 1979, and went on to become an EMT/Paramedic. While residing in NY Dave was a member of both the Romulus Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance.
In 2000, he moved to Rocky Mount, North Carolina where he worked for Nash County Ambulance Service, Nash General Hospital, West Edgecombe Rescue Squad, and Edgecombe County Rescue Squad. He moved to Florida in April of this year.
David touched many lives here and in the places he has lived since. He will long be remembered for his dedication to service and those who he taught along the way.
On behalf of myself and the emergency services in Seneca County, rest in piece my friend for you have answered the supreme call.
