Waterloo: Irene J. Porter-Jodiet, 80, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Seneca Nursing Home, two hours before her husband, William, also passed away. Irene Jodiet took her final journey back to the Lord at 7:30 AM, preparing the way for her beloved husband of 31 years, Willie Jodiet, to join her. And so at 9:35 AM, he did join her, when he passed away at Geneva General Hospital.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, August 24th at 11:00 AM at Mount Green Cemetery in Romulus, NY. Pastor Scott VanKirk will officiate.
Irene’s family request memorial contributions be directed to the Lupus Foundation of America, PO Box 418629, Boston, MA 02241-8629 and request memorial contributions for Willie to be directed to the VFW or Moose Lodge.
