WILLARD-June C. Sheldon, age 97, longtime resident of Prospect Street, died on Tuesday (May 17) at Cayuga Ridge Nursing Facility in Ithaca, following an extended illness.
Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm, on Friday, (May 20) at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. A funeral service will then be held at the funeral home at 3pm on Friday, officiated by the Very Reverend Richard Strauss of Christ Episcopal Church, Willard. Prayers of committal will be held at Ovid Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to Christ Church, PO Box 275, Willard, NY 14588.
