James O. “Jim” Turo, age 93, of Trumansburg, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Seneca View Nursing Facility.
A Memorial Service and Military Honors Tribute will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the American Legion Post 770 in Trumansburg with Rev. John Kotun officiating. A reception and gathering will immediately follow the service at the Legion. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to the South Seneca Campus Beautification Fund, 7263 So. Main Street, Ovid, NY 14521, in Jim’s memory.
