del Lago Staff also Donated Non-Perishable Items to Seneca County House of Concern
Tyre — As a staunch community steward, del Lago Resort & Casino focuses its mission on strengthening the community by supporting local organizations and nonprofits that improve the quality of life in the Finger Lakes region. To mark the Thanksgiving holiday, del Lago Resort & Casino donated food to local Seneca County charities that provide nourishment to those in need.
On Friday, del Lago Resort & Casino donated 55 turkeys (more than 700 pounds) to the Seneca County Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The Thanksgiving dinner is hosted by the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992, Trauma Response Assistance for Children (T.R.A.C.) Team, Seneca County House of Concern and United Way of Seneca County. The dinner is open to all Seneca County residents in need of a holiday meal or a place to go on Thanksgiving.
This is the third year in a row del Lago Resort & Casino has donated Thanksgiving turkeys to Seneca County House of Concern.
Additionally, del Lago Resort & Casino employees hosted a month-long food drive for Seneca County House of Concern. Departments within del Lago hosted a friendly contest to see which group could donate the most non-perishable food items. Staff from del Lago Resort & Casino delivered the items to the food pantry.
