Written by Jeff Foxworthy and FireHouse to Perform at del Lago Resort & Casino’s The Vine
Del Lago Resort & Casino announced two upcoming shows at The Vine. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will perform at 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, and FireHouse will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24. Tickets for all performances are now on sale, and may be purchased in person at the del Lago Resort & Casino box office, by calling the box office at 315-946-1695 or online at dellagoresort.com/entertainment.
Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest-selling comedy recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and best-selling author of more than 26 books. In 2014, he was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Widely known for his redneck jokes, Foxworthy’s act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature, a style that has been compared to Mark Twain’s.
FireHouse is an American glam metal band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina. The band reached stardom during the early 1990s with hit singles like “Reach For The Sky” and “All She Wrote,” as well as signature power ballads “I Live My Life for You,” “Love of a Lifetime,” “When I Look Into Your Eyes” and “Don’t Treat Me Bad.” At the 1992 American Music Awards, FireHouse won the award for Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock New Artist over Nirvana and Alice in Chains. This is the second time FireHouse has performed at del Lago; their last show in fall 2018 sold out.
