Waterloo/Waterloo – Alma M. Buckhout, 83 formerly of William St., Waterloo, NY, died Tuesday (December 29, 2015) at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may attend a Memorial Service for Alma on Tuesday (January 5, 2016) at 11 AM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend Polly Kasey, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seneca Falls, NY officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.
Alma was born in Waterloo, NY on July 12, 1932 the daughter of the late Maynard & Bertha Purdom Sharp. She had resided in the Waterloo/Seneca Falls area for most of her life. She had been a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Seneca Falls. Alma had been very active in the local Senior Follies and was an avid bowler, having been in bowling leagues over the years. She, also, had played golf and done ceramics at one time.

5 great grandchildren – Briana Shamoian, Riley & Mackenzie Griggs, Gwen & Daxton DiIorio

In addition to her parents, Alma was predeceased by her husband, Richard W. Buckhout who died March 9, 2007, 1 brother, Raymond Sharp, & her half-sister, Carol Gurba Foster
