Amanda E. Pluretti, 96, of Chestnut St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Monday (November 4, 2013) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may attend Amanda’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday (November 8) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, c/o St. Patrick’s Church Office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.
Amanda was born in Cerageto, Italy on October 20, 1917 the daughter of the late Ettore & Maria Corfini Morganti. She had resided in Seneca Falls for 55 years, moving from Italy. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls and she enjoyed cooking, knitting, and reading.
She is survived by:
3 daughters – Mary (Joseph) Lorenzetti – Seneca Falls, NY
Adrianne (Donald) Shutter – Lakeland, Florida
Louise (Dennis) Miller – Seneca Falls, NY
1 son – Rino (Nancy) Pluretti – Waterloo, NY
8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great=great granddaughter
In addition to her parents, Amanda was predeceased by her husband, Aladino Pluretti who died November 7, 2002, 1 sister, Eni Morganti and 2 brothers, Tony & Luciano Morganti.
Amanda’s family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff at Huntington Living Center and the staff of Lifetime Care Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to their mother.
