Seneca Falls – Angelo L. Sandroni, 89, of Mechanic St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday (September 28, 2016) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY surrounded by his family.
Family and friends may attend Angelo’s Mass of Christian Burial on Monday (October 3) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial, with military honors will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. Angelo was born in Seneca Falls, NY on June 14, 1927 the son of the late Peter and Irma Armorfini Sandroni. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired from Gould’s Pumps after 46 years of service. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Seneca Falls where he was very active in his church’s Nicaragua Project. He, also, was active in St. Patrick’s Bingo, the St. Frances/St. Clare Summer Carnival, and the St. Anthony Festival He was a member the S.M.S of Seneca Falls and the Steel Workers Union #3298. Angelo had always been there to help with Meals-on-Wheels. Angelo and his family were the recipients of the Father Joseph Beatini award and the George Bailey Award. He was a man who was devoted as a father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his wife, Laura Landi Sandroni who died November 11, 2009, 2 brothers, John & Joseph Sandroni, 1 sister, Amelia Sandroni, & his sister-in-law, Maura Lucchesi.
