Seneca Falls – Angelo P. Rizzieri, 94, of E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, Monday (January 28, 2013) at his residence.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY, on Tuesday (February 5, 2013) from 10 AM to 11 Am followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Angelo was born in Seneca Falls, NY on January 25, 1919 the son of the late Allessandro & Maria Pisano Rizzieri. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired from the Seneca Falls Post Office where he was Post Master. Angelo was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion of Seneca Falls, the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992 and a 4th degree member and past grand knight of the Seneca Falls Knights of Columbus, Council #222.

His wife, Anne Stromak Rizzieri of Seneca Falls, whom he married on November 25, 1983

Robert (Patricia) Rizzieri – Bel Air, Maryland
4 grandchildren – Meghan (Chris) Ruper, MaryBeth Rizzieri, Patrick and Katherine Rizzieri
3 brothers – Patrick (Anna) Rizzieri – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Louis (Barbara) Rizzieri – Seneca Falls, NY
Gerald (Colleen) Rizzieri – North Carolina
His wife, Ann’s children – Mary Anne Tokar – Baldwinsville, NY

In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his first wife, Gladys Mitchell Rizzieri who died March 20, 1972, his daughter-in-law, Nancy W. Rizzieri who died May 22, 2008, 3 sisters, Anna DeJohn, Rose Morganti, & Mary Pierson and 1 brother, Joseph Rizzieri
