Lansing, Michigan/Seneca Falls – Antoinette M. Chadwell, 89, of Lansing, Michigan and formerly of Seneca Falls, NY, died Wednesday (August 20, 2014) at Bickford Cottage, Portage, Michigan after short battle with cancer.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Friday morning (August 29) from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY.
Antoinette was born in Seneca Falls, NY on June 13, 1925 the daughter of the late Egidio & Jennie Angeli Giannotti. She was retired from the State of Michigan where she was an Executive Secretary to the Director of the Department of Licensing & Regulation. Previously, she was an Executive Secretary for the Lieutenant Governor and the Lansing , Michigan City Council.
Toni was recognized for volunteering over 50 years for St. Lawrence & Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She was President for the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Lawrence Hospital multiple times and oversaw the volunteer transition when Sparrow & St. Lawrence Hospitals, of Lansing, Michigan, merged. Over the past 3 decades, Toni has been an active member of Saint Gerard Church of Lansing, Michigan and delivered communion to the homebound. Previously, she attended Holy Cross Catholic Church of Lansing, Michigan.
Toni enjoyed playing cards with her friends, reading the Lansing State Journal every day, working crossword puzzles & studying Italian History of Seneca Falls. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, however, she will never be forgotten.
She is survived by:

Her sisters – Ione Bonacci – Waterloo, NY
Mary Schulte – Seneca Falls, NY
Jeanette (Henry) Borys – Lyons,NY
Her sister-in-law – Olide Giannotti – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
In addition to her parents, Toni was predeceased by 3 brothers, Charlie, Eddie, & Louie Giannotti and 2 sisters, Rose (Jim) Belsito & Leona (Ed) Salotti.
