Arlene Simone Rosenkrans, 72, of Rt 89 Seneca Falls, NY passed away on September 14th at the Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan, NY.

Family and friends may attend Arlene’s memorial service on Thursday (September 18, 2014) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. Arlene was born in Seneca Falls on June 22, 1942, the daughter of the late Emily (D’Eredita) & Anthony Simone. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy. She retired 3 years ago from Carmody Insurance in Auburn, NY. Arlene enjoyed decorating her home.

Arlene is survived by her brother Angelo (Eileen) Simone of Cape Coral, Florida, her sister Linda York of Baltimore, MD; 4 nieces—Terri (Mike) Bradley of Seneca Falls, Toni Noz and Liz (Duke) Thurston of Clayton, NC., and Marianne Santell of Farmington. She also had 4 great-nephews: Michael and Matthew Bradley, Duke and Nick Thurston, and 3 great nieces, Simone Noz, Morgan Bradley, and Cecelia Santell, as well as a great niece, Ava Bradley, and her long-time friend Herb Dixon of Amherst, VA, and her dog, Ralph.
