Waterloo/Varick – Arthur N. Truesdale, 92, of E. Main St., Waterloo, NY and formerly of the Town of Varick, died Wednesday (November 28, 2012) at Geneva Living Center South, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may attend funeral services for Arthur on Sunday (December 2) at 1 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, with Chuck Boales, Chaplain at Lorain Light House U.M.C., Lorain, Ohio, officiating. Committal services, with military honors, will be on Monday (December 3) at 10 AM at Sampson Veteran’s Cemetery, Town of Romulus, NY. Arthur was born in Elyria, Ohio on January 16, 1920 the son of the late William and Florence Boales Truesdale. He was a lifetime resident of the Waterloo-Varick area and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines during World War II. He had been employed by the former Wicks Lumber Co. of Waterloo, NY. He was a past member of the Winnek Post #396 American Legion, Geneva, NY. Arthur loved to hunt and fish and he enjoyed music and dancing.

Linda (James) Durso – Victor, NY
1 son – Daniel Truesdale – Walworth, NY
4 grandchildren – Adam, Benjamin, & Linsey Karlsen and Tyler Durso
His best friend – Ann Truesdale – Geneva, NY
His cousins – Chuck & Becky Boales – Lorain, Ohio
In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by 1 sister, Elsie Lawrence and her husband, Eugene Lawrence.
