Seneca Falls –Barbara A. Giovannini, 47, of Porter St., Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, Tuesday (June 18, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.

A Funeral Service for Barbara will be held on Saturday (June 22) at 11 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165.

Barbara was born in November 5, 1965 the daughter of James & Barbara Stuck Matsinger. She was a 1983 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 1985 graduate of Cayuga Community College in Auburn, NY. She was employed in the office at Wadham’s Enterprises of Phelps, NY. She had, at one time, been employed by Howard’s Express and the Agway Energy Products. She was a devoted mother and wife
who will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and her dear animals.

She is survived by:
Her husband, John “Gevo” Giovannini of Seneca Falls, whom she married on December 9, 1989

Her mother and step-father, Barbara & Henry Luke – Waterloo, NY
