Seneca Falls – Beryl D. Anderson, 98 of Maple St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday (September 5, 2017) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.

Graveside services, at Springbrook Cemetery, Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend Leah Ntuala, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Seneca Falls, NY, officiating. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165

Beryl was born in Seneca Falls, NY on July 31, 1919 the daughter of the late Clarence & May Joslyn Dutcher. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had previously owned and operated the former Beryl’s Fabrics in Seneca Falls. Beryl was a tailor and seamstress who taught sewing in the adult education program in Seneca Falls. She loved the time she was able to spend in her garden.

She is survived by:
1 daughter – Julie Smith – Cincinnati, Ohio
2 sons – John Anderson – Seneca Falls, NY
David (Barbara) Anderson – Seneca Falls, NY
4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, & 1 great great grandchild
Several nieces and nephews, including Richard “Abe” Meyers
Her former daughter-in-law – Dorothy Anderson – Seneca Falls, NY
In addition to her parents, Beryl was predeceased by her husband, Harry Anderson who died August 31, 1977, 2 children at birth and her great grandson, Frederick J. “Freddy “Morganti III who died April 6, 2010.
