Byram L. Deal, 82, of Ovid St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Sunday (April 8, 2012) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday (April 13) from 4 – 6 PM followed by a funeral service at 6 PM at the funeral home with Reverend David Mihalyi, Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Waterloo, NY, officiating. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Pathway Home (Hospice House), P. O. Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
The Seneca Falls Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the funeral home on Friday evening (April 13) at 5:45 PM.
Byram was born in Seneca Falls, NY on January 2, 1930 the son of the late Lester and Mildred Kuney Deal. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served his county in Trieste, Italy during his enlistment. He was retired from the former Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, NY. He was a member of the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion, the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1324 V.F.W, and the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #922, all of Seneca Falls.

1 brother – Lloyd (Liesje) Deal – Bath, NY
1 sister-in-law – Judy Deal – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Byram was predeceased by his wife, Vona Norton Deal who died September 13, 2002 and a brother, Justin Deal who died February 5, 2010.
