Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Sunday (February 4, 2018) from 2 PM to 4 PM followed by a funeral service at 4 PM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Committal services will be held on Tuesday (February 6) at 11:30 AM at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Carmella was born in the Town of Varick, NY on May 16, 1921 the daughter of the late Dominick & Narda Cassamasima Paradise. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was retired from the former Sylvania Inc. of Seneca Falls. She, also, had worked as a cook at Connie’s Diner in Waterloo after Sylvania closed. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls. Carmella loved to bowl and garden but most of all she was known as a great cook. She, also, enjoyed playing cards during her time at Huntington Living Center.
She is survived by:
1 daughter – Margaret A. (Robert) Smith – Waterloo, NY
4 grandchildren – Robert (Gerilyn) Smith, Darin (Sandy) Smith, Kevin Smith, & Scott Smith.
2 brothers – Macy Paradise – Seneca Falls, NY
Dominick “Deco” (Ailene Phillips) Paradise – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Carmella was predeceased by 16 brothers & sisters including, Angela Pacuilli, Tony Paradise, Frank Paradise, John Paradise, & Michelle Conant.
