Catherine Chuley, 88 of Seneca Falls, formerly of Washington, DC, died Friday (May 10, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.

Funeral services and burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, c/o St. Patrick’s Church Office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.

Catherine was born in Seneca Falls, NY on March 27, 1925 the daughter of the late Michael & Effie Jahowitz Chuley. She had returned to Seneca Falls a year and a half ago after residing over 30 years in Washington D.C. She had been retired from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Washington D.C.

Her sister, Anne (Thomas) Marsella – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Fannie Krantz who died January 12, 2003 and her brother, George Chuley, August 8, 200.
