Diane Jones

Seneca Falls – Diane M. Jones, 65, of Chestnut St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday (March 25, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY after a brief illness.

Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Friday (March 28) from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (March 29) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, later this spring. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165.

Diane was born in Seneca Falls, NY on March 18, 1949 the daughter of the late John A. & Josephine P. Romeo Dellefave. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls and a graduate of Mynderse Academy. She had attended Corning Community College, Corning, NY and was a graduate of the Auburn Beauty School, Auburn, NY. A licensed hairdresser, Diane had owned and operated the former “The Villager Beauty Shop” in Seneca Falls. Diane was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls & the Rumseyville Sportsman’s Club of Seneca Falls. She was an avid New York Yankee fan and a loving mother and grandmother. She had been an avid crafter over the years. She enjoyed an occasional scotch and water and was a great animal lover, especially her family dog, “Bauer”.

Her brother – Anthony (Rose) Dellefave – Seneca Falls, NY
