Seneca Falls – Eileen M. Healy, 65, of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, formerly of Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, Tuesday (June 25, 2013) at her residence in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Wednesday (July 10) from 4 – 6 PM. A Memorial Mass for Eileen will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, on Thursday (July 11) at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Eileen was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 20, 1948 the daughter of Edward A. & Helen Boyle Healy Sr. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Seneca Falls, and a graduate of Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA where she attained her Bachelor of Science degree in History. She earned a Master’s Degree in education from Syracuse University and her M.B.A. from Central Michigan University. Eileen started her career in the auto industry as a parts manager with Dave Ball Chevrolet. She later went to work with General Motors as a Regional General Manager. She then moved to Detroit where she became the Executive Director of General Motors Parts Channel and later Executive Director of Product Development which was her title upon her retirement. She was a member of the Auto EMO Network, the automotive industry professionals worldwide, & the GM Dealer Professionals. After her retirement she taught at the Grosse Pointe High School and along with that she was doing some special projects for General Motors. Eileen had been listed in “Who’s Who” both in 2008 and 2010. She, also, was bestowed the honor of “Woman of the Year” for the city of Detroit.

Eileen was predeceased by her mother, Helen Boyle Healy, who died September 5, 2000, her brother, Patrick who died in April of 1982 and her sister, Maureen Healy who died December 25, 2011.
