Seneca Falls – Eleanor Shea, 91, of Westfall Drive, Seneca Falls, NY, died peacefully in her sleep Thursday (January 12, 2012) at Geneva  General  Hospital.

Family and friends may call on Sunday (January 15, 2012) from 1:00 – 2:00PM at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls followed by a funeral service at 2 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Keeley of Rochester, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Eleanor’s name, to “Camp Good Days & Special Times”, Headquarters, 1332 Pittsford Mendon Rd, PO Box 665 Mendon, NY 14506.

Eleanor was born in Rochester, NY on June 6, 1920, the daughter of late Chester & Gertrude End Heyer.  She resided in Rochester and came to Seneca Falls 5 years ago to stay with her daughter, Kathy & her husband Tim & family. Eleanor enjoyed playing cards and was on many bowling leagues.  She crocheted & attended craft shows where she sold the items she made.  Eleanor was an avid bird watcher and an angel collector.  She totally loved and enjoyed her family and all the grandchildren.

14 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, William J. Shea, who died in 1989; 1 son Timothy; 1 daughter Shannon Shea Wilson; 3 - brothers – Chester, John & Roland Heyer; 2 sisters – Marie Heyer & Geraldine (Heyer) Lang.
