Elizabeth (Betty) Lux Rogers, formerly of Seneca Falls, NY died on December 12, 2014 at Grand Oaks Assisted Living in Washington, DC. She was 90 and suffered from Alzheimer’s disease.

Mrs. Rogers was born in Waterloo, NY in 1924, the daughter of Joseph & Fern (Stubblefield) Lux. After graduating from Waterloo High School in 1946, she attended Eastman Dental Dispensary, graduating in 1946 as a dental hygienist.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by seven of her eight children: Diane, James, Kathleen, Colleen, John, Kevin and Terence. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin J. Rogers, Jr., their son, Brian, and three siblings, Robert, Virginia and Barbara. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Lux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, NY at 11 am. Contributions in Mrs. Rogers’ memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
