Seneca Falls – Frank J. Capozzi, 88, of Pleasant St., Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, on Monday (April 22, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Friday (April 26) from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 27) at 10:15 AM at the funeral home and at 11 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Revered James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. The Seneca Falls Honor Guard will conduct military honors for Frank on Friday evening (April 26) at 7 PM at the funeral home.
Frank was born in Geneva, NY on March 18, 1925 the son of the late Joseph & Mary Manino Capozzi. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He had resided in Seneca Falls since 1950 moving from Geneva, NY. He was retired from the former Seneca Army Depot of Romulus, NY where he was a supervisor of the air strip warehouse. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, the Sons of Italy, Geneva, NY, and the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion of Seneca Falls. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a huge New York Yankee Fan and in his younger years he was an avid bowler. Frank was able to roll at 300 bowling game and was a member of the 700 Bowling Club. He had hit 700, 26 times in his bowling years.

His twin sons – Frank (Rosemarie) Capozzi Sr. – Seneca Falls, NY
Frederick (Denise) Capozzi –Seneca Falls, NY
4 grandchildren – Robert (Victoria) Krebbs III, Aaron Capozzi, Frank (Paula) Capozzi, & Adam Capozzi.
4 great grandchildren – Alyvia & Gabrielle Krebbs, Annabel & Alaina Capozzi
1 sister – Carmella Girup – Clifton Springs, NY
1 brother – John Capozzi – Geneva, NY
His special niece, Nora (Ed) VanKirk – San Diego, CA.

In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by 2 sisters, Nora Marr & Rose Contini and 2 brothers, Anthony & Sam Capozzi.
