Seneca Falls – Frederick A. Mellini, 75 of East Bayard St., Ext. died Tuesday (March 18, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Funeral services and interment, under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY, will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Seneca Ambulance Corps, Route 96, Waterloo, NY 13165.
Fred was born in Seneca Falls, NY on November 14, 1938 the son of the late Raffaello & Josephine Giovannini Mellini. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the National Guard. He was retired from Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls where he was a customer sales, service, & warranty manager and for the past 8 years he had volunteered for the Seneca County VITA (Tax Preparation). He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the S.M.S. of Seneca Falls. Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the company of his Brittany spaniels over the years.

Freddie was a dear friend. We spent many happy times together hunting, fishing,drinking Manhattans and laughing! What a great guy! I will miss him so much.
