Geraldine Golway Vergamini, age 93, of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Monday (September 30, 2013) at her home.

Funeral services and burial in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY, will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Seneca Falls Library, 47 Cayuga St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148.

Geraldine was born on July 11, 1920 in Buffalo, NY the only daughter of Samuel & Genevieve Carroll Golway. The family moved to Willard, NY after the death of her mother. Geraldine was married to Bernard Vergamini and they made their home in Seneca Falls, where they raised their children. Geraldine retired from the Seneca County Department of Social Services.

Survived by her children: Carol (Peter) Wormuth of Seneca Falls, Frank (Sarah) Vergamini of State College, PA., Judith (Thomas) Catalano of Geneva, NY, & Thomas (Mary Kinsky) Vergamini of Waterloo, NY and her grandchildren, Scott, Jeffrey (Laura) Wormuth, Suzanne (Michael) Burke, Julia (Brad) Mitchell, Matthew (Barbara) Vergamini, Thomas Catalano, David (Amy) Catalano, Melissa (Michael) Feola, & Max Kinsky.

Also great grandchildren: Ethan & Molly Burke, Hadley & Ben Mitchell, Emma & Sophia Vergamini, Parker, Ross, & Chase Catalano and Arden & Jack Feola.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard and her brothers Phillip, Carroll, & Louis Golway.
