Seneca Falls – Grace D. Compo (Nani Jo), 84, of George Rd., Seneca Falls, NY, died Thursday (May 3, 2012) at her residence.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Friday (May 4) from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (May 5) at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and at 10 AM at St. Patrick’ s Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, C/o of Joanne Barbati, 208 Old Meadow Drive, E. Amherst, NY 14051.
Grace was born in Watertown, NY on August 7, 1927 the daughter of the late Andrew and Rachel Grosso Williams. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1959 moving from Watertown, NY. She had been the manager of the Seneca County Off Track Betting in Seneca Falls. She was a member of St. Patrick’ s Church, Seneca Falls. She was a member of the Rich & (Not So) Famous Sewing Club, Former Chairwoman of the Seneca County Republican Party, Manager of the Year from New York State Regional Off Track Betting (O.T.B.), a member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992 Auxilary, a convention days volunteer, but most of all, she was a dedicated mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 4 brothers, Joseph, Mike, James and Dominic Williams, and 6 sisters, Jenny, Carmella, Rose, Josephine, Fanny, & Mary.
