Waterloo - Henry Edward Gleason, 83, of 22 Iroquois Ln., died Tuesday (July 17, 2012).
In honoring the family wishes there will be no calling hours. The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday (July 21) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Rev. Phil Tennies, Assistant Pastor of Waterloo United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.

Henry was born Dec. 22, 1928 in Auburn, the son of Henry E., Sr. and Midred Nolan Gleason. He was a 1948 graduate of Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls. He began employment with Bell Telephone Co. in Seneca Falls, before going into the Marines. After serving in the Marines from 1948 to 1952, he worked at Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, for many years. Later, he was employed with ARC in Canandaigua.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Gleason, whom he married in 1957; sons, Steven (Carolyn) Gleason of Seneca Falls and Mark (Lisa) Gleason, of Fernandina Beach, FL; daughters, Christine (Michael) Maher of Waterloo and Karen (Ret. Col. Dominic) Caraccilo, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jeffery (Lori) Maher, Lindsay Maher, Rachael Maher, Nicole (Jason) Schussler, 2nd Lt. Robert Caraccilo, Jacob Caraccilo, Jenna Caraccilo, Gavin Gleason, and “Gabby” Gleason; great-grandson, Keegan Maher; sister, Ethel Dzuiba of Moontownship, PA.
