Seneca Falls/Waterloo – Imperia M. “Betty” Becker, 94, formerly of Seneca Falls and Waterloo, New York, passed away Sunday (October 26, 2014) at St. Camillus Health and Rehab Center in Syracuse, New York.

Betty was born in the Country of Luxembourg, the daughter of the late Felice and Italia Spadano Palazzi. She lived most of her life in the Seneca Falls and Waterloo area. Betty was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Waterloo. She was a former member of the Auburn VFW Post #1975 Auxiliary and a former volunteer at Boyle Center, Westminster Manor and Mercy Rehab Center, all in Auburn, New York.

Betty is predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Elmer S. Becker, who died April 12, 2003; and a brother, Michael Palazzi. She is survived by three children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In honoring Betty’s wishes, there will be no prior calling hours, and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be sent in her name to The Centers at St. Camillus, 813 Fay Road, Syracuse, New York 13219-3098, Attention: Brenda Mahar.
