Seneca Falls/Eden, N.C. - Jack E. Deal, 56, of 1413 Ridge Ave., Eden, N.C., formerly of Bayard St., died Wednesday (June 20, 2012) in Hospice House of Rockingham County in Reidsville, N.C.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Jack was born March 25, 1956, in Waterloo, the son of Frederick F. and Izora B. Miller Deal. He was a 1975 graduate of Waterloo High School.  He began employment with Sylvania, later Phillips ECG, in Seneca Falls.  When Phillips ECG moved to Ohio, he became employed at Zotos International in Geneva, until he retired.  After his retirement, he and his family moved to Eden, N.C.  He was a member of Immanuel Friends Church in Eden.

He is survived by his wife, K. J. Kincaid Deal; three daughters, Jackie Deal Smith of Seneca Falls, Kimberly Deal of Auburn, Allisa Deal of Eden, N.C.; three grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Miller, of TX, Richard (Elizabeth) Deal, of TN, and Paul (fiancee, Tonya Oberdorf) of Clyde; sister, Shirley Bethel of Waterloo; three uncles, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Joshua Deal, who died Oct. 12, 2000; and a brother, Albert Hurd, who died March 10, 1998.
