Jane E. Cook, 92 of Lower Lake Rd. passed away at Huntington Living Center Friday evening March 6, 2015. Family and friends may call from 4 pm to 7 pm on Monday (03-09-15) at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, Seneca Falls with Rev. Polly Casey officiating.

She was born in Seneca Falls the daughter of Leroy and Etta Baker Sullivan on June 23, 1922. Jane lived in the area her whole life. She worked in Special Services at the Seneca Army Depot for many years. A member of Trinity Episcopal Church and choir. An avid bowler and past President of the 600 Club. One of the founding members of the Red Jacket Auxiliary.
She instructed Red Cross swimming for over 50 years. A volunteer at Huntington Living Center for over 20 years. She enjoyed golfing and worked for the Senior Follies for many years. Also a member of the Senior Singers and a Colonial Pals organizer. A member of the Kiwanis Club and the VFW Auxiliary. Jane received the George Bailey Award form It’s a Wonderful Life recently.
Survived by he son Kenneth (Lucille) Cook of Seneca Falls. Two granddaughters: Debbie (George) Hall, Seneca Falls and Carrie (Greg) Fisher, Moscow, PA. 6 great grandchildren: Rachael, Kenny, Emily, Gregory, Johnathan and Daniel. A niece Beverly Tansley. Pre deceased by her husband John W. Cook on August 8, 1990, a son Jerry Cook and a sister Gertrude Dausch.
What an awesome lady Jane was. When the Red Jacket Fire Dept. needed any food or beverages brought to the scene of a fire Jane was always there. Whatever kind of help we needed, Jane would help in any way she could.
Condolences to the family, she will be missed by so many people. She was one of a kind.
