Seneca Falls – Jean M. Guthrie, 86, formerly of Auburn Road, Seneca Falls, NY, died Friday (October 31, 2014) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.

Funeral services and burial, in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY, will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours.

Jean was born in Auburn, NY on June 28, 1928 the daughter of the late Joseph & Marion Lamphear DelSanto. She had resided in Seneca Falls for most of her life. Jean was retired from the Seneca Falls Central Schools where she was a cafeteria aid.

She is survived by:
3 daughters - Linda (Greg) Petschi - Elkton, Maryland
Susan (William) Romano – Baldwinsville, New York
Gina (Robert Rizarry) Olmstead – Tampa, Florida
9 Grandchildren
6 Great Grandchildren
1 sister – Shirley Porcelli – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Earl R. Guthrie who died January 14, 1994, and 2 sisters, Barbara Longo who died January 18, 2009, & Angelina “Betty” Deming who died October 22, 2013.
